Reviews of Brother's Pizzeria
"I think it just might be me. This place was crowded (with what seemed like a lot of regular customers), and it was too busy to answer phone, and there’s a bunch of testimonials that swear by the pizza here. For me, meh. I ordered two grandma squares and nothing about them was memorable. I did detect the freshness of the tomato sauce, but I have no other praise to offer other than that. Price of $7 was fair. Very spacious dining area. I sat at a table underneath a photo of The Sopranos cast. I didn’t dislike my pizza, but it didn’t impress me either. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again, but I do encourage anyone who’s never been here to give it a try and judge for themselves. Because it could just be me."
"I've not been to brothers in a little over a year, but it used to be one of the better places to get pizza on the Island. Used to be... I purchased 2 large pies one plain and one pepperoni 22$ for plain 30$ for pepperoni, the pizza was average no longer the pizza most went out of their way for, it's the same pizza you can get at any Staten Island pizzeria for a lot less and use a a card. I guess success went to their heads and they believe people will pay more for "brothers pizza", well don't waste your money it's not the same as before it's just average. Will not be going there again!"
"Best pizza on staten island in my opinion if you aren't a thin crust fan. You order and it's always ready in 15 minutes. Guys behind counter are always friendly. Pizza is big, cheese is quality, and sauce is delicious."
"I have been going to Brother’s since it opened in the 80’s. Was back home to Staten Island for a visit and I always visit my favorite places to eat. Well……. I will never go back again. I asked if a fresh pie was coming out of the oven the guy says “no”. Ok so now I have to eat what’s been laying there. Couldn’t decide which pizza I wanted because they all looked like they’ve been laying out all day with the flies all over. I asked the help for a slice as he started to cut it because it was laying there so long the cheese started to crack so I said never mind, so he got annoyed and threw the cutting utensil. The people I was with said let’s go. We went down the street to for pizza Sorry Brothers. Get an owner back to monitor your help. I will never go back. I’m an native Staten islander and Staten Island is not what it used to be and this is a perfect example. I used to love this place so much the night of my wedding in 1984 my husband and I had our limo stop there for slices on our way home from the reception. So this really bothers me. I’m extremely disappointed."
"I ordered a chicken caeser salad. And I tipped. I come back to the office and open this up. The service is friendly but please be competent, even when youre busy. I had to call twice to inform them I got the wrong order, cause the first time the guy on the line suddenly went quiet. They offered to rectify the order but it's too far for me at this point. Please check your orders before leaving and spare yourself any potential inconvenience. Won't be returning."
