"We discovered Shrivers on a vacation to Ocean City 6 years ago. We’ve continued ordering their taffy online and shipping to Missouri, because their candy is the most exquisite treat we’ve ever had. Be prepared to lose interest in all other candy. Nothing compares once you’ve tried Shrivers. In our last order we tried the butter mints, and they are absolutely divine. "Shriver's on Asbury Ave sets a new standard for bringing the boardwalk to Main Street!. The moment you step inside, the blend of classic counters and modern aesthetics creates a delightful atmosphere. The taffy selection is outstanding, boasting a wide array of flavors available in pre-packaged assortments or customizable options from bins. My favorite is the gelato! The fudge, a true standout, surprises with its rich flavors and smooth texture, a welcome departure from the typical graininess found in most tourist spots. My only regret is not stocking up more on the exceptional fudge – a mistake I won't repeat. The Flagship store is located on the boardwalk, however Shriver's makes getting these sweets easily accessible with this store located in the heart of Ocean City's shopping district. If you want to watch the candy making process then don’t miss there store on the boardwalk."

"Always a great visit whenever in Ocean City. Have a wide variety of candy, salt water taffies and fudge. Got 5 pounds of fudge during our last visit in June 2022. Fudge always tastes fresh and creamy. Only fudge I got that I wasn't happy with was the chocolate marshmallow, as it was dry and older. The rest of my selections (chocolate and chocolate m&ms) is great. Out of the 5 pounds that we bought for 4 people, each person got something different and no complaints from them."

"What fun! I realize taffy/candy stores are a staple at every boardwalk in America, but Shriver's is head and shoulders above anything I've ever encounter. Just walking in is a fun experience. It's a great mix of the old counters/displays and modern - well lit and clean. I especially liked the back wall - all glass with a view of the candy making operation. The taffy is incredible. Great variety of flavors. You can buy specialty flavors or assortments already packaged in a variety of sizes. Or you can create your own assortment from dozens of flavors in bins. The fudge is truly amazing. Great flavors, creamy texture - vs the typical grittiness of most tourist destination offerings. Now that I'm home, I truly regret only buying 4 bars. IMO this is a must-stop if you're in Ocean City. I live in NYC, so dropping in here is a challenge. BUT . . . they ship! Staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is sparkling clean and well organized. Really nice!"
