"I've been coming here on and off for the 6 years that I've lived in the area and this morning will probably be the last time. I order the exact same thing every time...bacon, egg, cheese on a roll with salt, pepper, ketchup and extra bacon. The order before this one I thought was a little light on the bacon, but I thought it was a one-off. This morning I ordered 3 and all three looked like the two I took pics of....no salt, pepper or ketchup and does this look like extra bacon??? So I get charged $24.00 for 3 sandwiches that have maybe 2 or 2 1/2 slices of bacon. If I wanted to get bent over, I would go to prison."
"For 4.5 years, I've been coming here for breakfast sandwiches, everyone's always nice and wonderful and the food is ALWAYS good. Today's service was different though, due to one woman. The Older Grey haired lady that had red long sleeves under the bagel tree shirt that couldn't smile is one of the nastiest people I've met. She was rude on the phone, rude in person, my order was not correct after I had left and gotten to my destination to eat. I don't appreciate that, and im sure most wouldnt. 20 bucks for 3 breakfast sandwiches, I don't bat an eye at that price with good service. But today it wasn't worth it to me. Wasn't even busy either. Always greet someone with a smile miss, you dont know how there day is going and that simple smile could change their day."
"Purchased 1 bacon egg and cheese on a sesame bagel, 1 ham egg and cheese on sesame bagel and a small coffee = $16+ ...both tasted fine (very little bacon)...just wasn't expecting Manhattan prices in the middle of nowhere NJ"
"TL:DR - It was ... fine, I guess? Went in later on a Sunday morning, and it was busy, but not overly so. Spacious interior with plenty of seating if you'd like to stay and eat. Easy ordering from the front counter, and clear menu in full view. After some consideration, I got a whole-wheat bagel with butter, chocolate croissant, Oreo cake, and coffee cake. The "whole wheat" bagel was basically a plain, white-bread style bagel. As a side note, the "whole grain" bagel also suffered the same fate; both had very little grains, whole wheat, etc. and were basically white, plain bagels. The amount of butter was kind of on the lean side - around 1/8 of an inch. That's not very much butter. The chocolate croissant had chocolate in it. That's about it. The croissant pastry was tough, and not very flakey, or buttery. I ended up peeling it open to eat the chocolate, and throwing the rest into the garbage. It take a lot for me to throw food away. The Oreo cake mostly tasted like supermarket frosting. The chocolate cake part barely tasted like chocolate, though it was really dark brown. Rather disappointing, but I saved the rest of it to soak in milk and eat another time. The coffee cake was buttery, crumbly, and delicious. It's weird to say the best thing I got at a bagel store was the coffee cake. The ratio of crumble to cake was spot on, and tasty. The staff there were busy, so there wasn't a lot of small talk. However, they did make a mistake with the person in front of me in line's order. Luckily, I could see them making my bagel, and it was the only "custom" thing I ordered, so it was fine. There are other, better bagel places nearby. This place is fine if you're at a business nearby, playing laser tag next door, or other bagel places are closed."
"Used to be the go to for bagel and sandwiches. Now, not so much. Front end service has quite the mean streak in them. The area where they prepare food- is a disaster. They never clean it up and yesterday, I had a bagel with cream cheese with some lettuce stuck to it ( and no I didn't order it). I know times are tough with getting people to work for you but you still need to keep it clean and be friendly."
