Reviews of The Bagel Nook
"Yummy everything bagel with cream cheese, bacon and onion. My bagel had the right amount of dense chewiness and great flavor. My friend had a grilled cheese which he enjoyed. Coffee was hot and rich. Seating was cozy and great for conversation despite the place being packed. I highly recommend a visit!"
"We recently came across this place and finally tried it out. Lots of fun flavored bagels - Oreo, Dorito, Captain Crunch, Flamin Hot Cheetos and LOTS of cream cheese flavors. A fun weekend stop especially with kiddos. ALL of the staff was super friendly and happy. Bagels were delicious overall - but definitely more of a cream cheese bagel than an egg sandwich bagel. The pairings are unique and really go well together - cream cheese mixings are on point. Oreo bagel doesnt have actual oreo in it but just colored a bit. They do have options to have oreos stacked into your sandwich but that felt a bit much. Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the cereal bagel flavors crushed cereal on the top - so anticipate bagel overall being savory. We loved flamin hot with ghost pepper cream cheese. Atmosphere is fun and it was a happening place on a Sunday morning. Enough room to find space to sit down and eat and if the weather is nice - room outside both front and back of restaurant to eat. It does take a while so bring patience :) And it does get pricey. We paid $10 for a bagel sandwich and $50 for 6 bagels + 2 w/cream cheese and a coffee. Coffee was the biggest bummer and a bit unimpressive but their focus is bagels so can't hold them to the coffee."
"We stopped after a funeral for a late breakfast (11am) on Saturday morning. I went with the PORK ROLL, egg, cheese, and hash brown on a toasted egg bagel with a hot coffee. Excellent! Its located in a strip mall, plenty of parking, there is indoor seating and plenty of picnic tables out back in a park like setting."
"We waited over 25 minutes for 2 bagel sandwiches!! People ordering after us got their orders so much faster. It wasn't even hot when we got them finally!! Their prices don't match up either, their menu says bagel sandwich was 7.49 but I was charged an extra $1.50 when I ordered exactly what their menu said. It was over $23+ for 2 bagel sandwiches. None of their employees were friendly at all. Bagels were nothing special either, for how expensive they were, I would expect them to taste somewhat good. I got the Doritos bagel and it tasted like a plain bagel. EXTREMELY disappointing experience, go anywhere else but here."
"Bagels are absolutely delicious here. This is definitely one of the spots that you can visit in NJ to understand why people rave about NJ bagels. There are so many cream cheese variety spreads too, so it makes coming back each time a delight. Bagels do get a bit pricey. I didn't know at the beginning that the specialty spreads like chicken salad and whitefish spread cost more because it becomes a bagel sandwich. I think the price for bagel sandwiches are way too much for a daily meal basis. I got the Doritos bagel with whitefish spread with a side of potato salad. The whitefish spread tastes good, but too salty for me and after eating half the cream and fat became too much for me to handle. Thankfully, the bagel and spread are still in great condition after a day in the refrigerator. I would definitely love to come back here, but probably for a bagel with a cream cheese type blend instead."
