"Absolute worst experience we have ever had with a tuxedo rental. Rented 1 men's and 1 child's tuxedo. At the first fitting the woman working the front counter was rude! Standing in front of the counter she ignored us and continued yapping on her cellphone with her earbuds in her ears. Upon pick up The child shirt was previously altered (stitches could be seen on the sleeves) and were half way up his arms. The shoes he was given were scuffed on the toes and beat up and the men's tuxedo was the wrong size. Stated they would correct it and 2 days later we arrived to pick up the corrected tuxedos and shoes. . Men's suit was again too small and the child shoes looked like they rubbed a little polish on the tip of the shoe and the rubber is coming loose from the sole!!! With the wedding in 2 days we are stuck with broken shoes and a tight jacket! By the way they also did not supply socks! Every other tux rental we have used supplied everything from head to toe for less! Every single member of the wedding party had an issue with their tuxedos. Thank you Dantes Tuxedos for the worst experience we have ever had! ABSOLUTE WORST TUXEDO RENTALS ON STATEN ISLAND"

"Went there today to rent a suit or tux for prom.. yuck, the sales girl or whatever she is at the counter was barely cordial, sorry but i expect friendly staff when i go spend money. I left and never came back. I walked in with a smile and warmly greeted her and the lady at the sewing machine. The lady smiled, and the girl barely answered the basic questions i had. She pulled out a catalog, pointed, gave me a price, and really seamed like i was taking up her time, i was there for under 5 minutes in all. Went to men’s warehouse and rented a full ensemble for half the price and from a very knowledgeable and Friendly young man named Christian. Sorry Dante, talk to your staff."
