"showed up at 5:55p on a sunday (they close at 6p). the gate was closed when i walked up so i asked the person working, “when do you close?” and they said “we’re closed” and i said, “but when do you close?” and they said “we’re closed” and i said “what are your hours” and they finally said “7a-6p” and i said “oh okay” and gave up. just find it very frustrating and annoying when a business doesn’t follow their hours. i walked there from far away thinking i was going to make it in time. if they had a reason that’s one thing, but this just seemed like they wanted to go home."

"What a hidden gem in the area. The idea of having a coffee shop in the middle of the park with outdoor seating area is AMAZING. Also Ella was sooo friendly. I changed my drink when I saw her making my friends drink with passion and she was totally okay with it. I miss friendly people back in the days."

"August was such a joyful & peaceful person to talk to!! They really made my day and the pistachio latte they made was absolutely delish. The outdoor and indoor seating is beautiful. Recommend! The only meh is the bathroom!! Which I assume is shared between all the connected businesses + the park. The door is so close to the toilet you can barely sit down. It's also all gender but multiple people can use it at once making it uncomfortable at times."

"Cute coffee track in McCarren Park with extremely friendly staff. The coffee was ok (they serve parole coffee which is not my fave) but it was just what I needed after my run. I really didn’t like their lemonade , I don’t know if it’s because of (tap?!) water or the ice cubes were bad but it just didn’t taste good."
