"RiteAid on Whitesville Rd Toms River is an awesome, friendly store, staff & pharmacy associates are all very polite, sweet and friendly, they go out of their way to show they care. Love this store"
"This review is regarding the pharmacy. The worst experience I have ever had at any pharmacy I've ever been too. My doctor sent my prescription to this rite aid. The medication was in stock, but the pharmacist refused to honor the prescription. There was nothing wrong or dangerous about the prescription, it was an ordinary medication. The pharmacist was VERY RUDE and didn't care that I needed the medication. The pharmacist refused to explain why I couldn't receive my prescription, I was furious. That is illegal in NJ. I hope someone holds them accountable for how they treat their customers. Justice is in order! I took my business to Walgreens and I'm much happier. Never an issue with walgreens and friendly faces greet you at the counter."
"Debbie has one of the WORST attitudes ever!!!! Refused to take my emailed receipt for a return and said it wasn't valid. Um hello? Your pos system asks if we want our receipt emailed, printed, or none. I wanted my refund back onto my snap card (which was how I originally paid) and told me she didn't like that and didn't like messing with the government but would of have rather me walked out with a $128+ gift card. Who shops at Rite Aid enough to want a gift card for that much? Make it make sense please? I never wanted a gift card or cash back I wanted my refund back onto my original form of payment. She was so rude that I then asked for her name so that I can call corporate on her, her response was "Go ahead it’s my last day anyway". I didn't know that's how we treat customers regardless of what day you're working on? On the other hand Maria and manager James were extremely nice and tried everything they could to try to get the refund back onto my card. I ended up going to the original Rite Aid where I made my purchase and they had zero issues processing my return and refund."
"Rite Aid 220 NJ-70 is bad place, bad service, deceitful. My daughter's doctor prescribed medicine and sent the order directly to this pharmacy. Within two days they called my husband saying the medicine was ready. He lied to us. Every day we went there, a lady said that it wasn't ready yet and that it would be ready later. We came back and nothing. Then they said it would be ready the next day. They lied once again. Then a man told my husband the reality. He said that the truck only takes medicine on Mondays, so he asked to call the next Monday to see if the medicine arrived. I thought it was absurd that they deceived us by telling us to go later, or the next day, since they knew that the medicines only arrived on Mondays. Today I spoke to a lady and she told me that it was ready for me to pick it up. I warned my husband, he went there after work and once again it was their lies. Then I called again and a man said it would be ready tonight. They are playing with us and my daughter's health. I don't accept that."
"7/14/23 @ 7:30pm Walk into Rite Aid, guy is sitting in a chair at the register. Doesn't appear handicapped? Asked if I can purchase 2 money orders as polite as can be. He goes "NOPE" while looking down at his phone. I waited a few seconds so he could explain why... I got nothing, and so I asked, why are you not doing money orders? He answers, "Because the machine is broke." Still while looking down at his phone. Do better Rite Aid with who you hire. Dark hair, glasses and tattoo on his shoulder."
