"Came here on a Friday night and it was very easy to secure a last minute reservation for 3 people. There's typical seating at the bar but there are also two private tables for 2 and one private table for 4 in the back that can reserved by calling. The service was great and the sushi was all very delicious. We opted for the 18-course meal which runs $118 per person (the 15-course is $98 pp) and had a couple Sapporo beers at $7 each. Overall, I really enjoyed the omakase experience at Kaiyo and would definitely try again."

"Highly recommend! First of all, the fish was absolutely delicious. My partner and I got the 15 course omakase and loved every dish. I loved that for so many of the pieces, the high quality fish was the star of the show. The chef would add a touch of a simple pairing that would perfectly complement the fish. My favorite was yellowtail with shishito pepper— they seemed made for each other! And the sweet shrimp with just a touch of lime was incredible. There were also some complex plates that I thoroughly enjoyed as well. Definitely top-notch omakase! The servers were very attentive, welcoming and accommodating. I love the vibes too, with the brick wall and intimate setting."
