"The Staff was very nice, the restaurant was very clean and had a beautiful decor. But sadly the food was way below average. I guess the problem is that having too many items on the menu makes you neglect the quality? The Paratha Roll was dry, tasteless and seemed like old. Ate it in 3 minutes. They put lettuce and carrots inside it. No chutney, no masala and no raita dip on the side. The roll was $10. I hope the owner sees this as a positive feedback and works on the taste."

"Dera Restaurant used to be great & awesome when Khalid Bhai was there & we used to notice that most customers were happy to come there but with these new employees being there, most customers are a bit unhappy. Additionally, their seating area in the Spring Valley, NY Location has become horrible. This Restaurant location is also not very clean inside anymore either. They seem cheap to spend money to improve restaurant but they surely have jacked up their prices on all their menu & their afternoon buffet. They also serve very little food for the menu high prices, just to make you spend more money. Horrible!!! Dera really needs someone like Khalid Bhai to work there, who made customers happy. Additionally, the owners (male & female) also don't seem very friendly to all or even try to get to know their customers either. No smile, no greeting, etc.!!! Hope these Owners of this restaurant read these feedbacks & do something to improve their Customer Service, their restaurant(s) seating area & cleanliness."

"BE-AWARE OF OVER CHARGE GUYS!!! i ordered on phone as u can see 1 chicken bihari paratha +1 chicken kabab roll+ 2 aloo tikki +1 simple naan+1 medium kheer they asked me to pay 34 dollers and with credit card they charged me around $36 when i asked about reciept to complete $34 he charged 2 kabab rolls otherwise he cannot complete $34 when i went back to get my money back they gave me cash of $5 and said it was a mistake but it was not mistake he deliberately charged this amount but he was not expecting me to ask for receipt so plz beware of tgeir over charge guys always ask for reciept NEVER TRUST THEM"

"This used to be my favorite place to eat authentic Pakistani food with a friendly staff which make feel like a family. I came back after few years and there not same service anymore. It’s not all about the food, it’s the whole experience. When I picked up my food, two times I had to ask for very basic stuff such as chatni and salad which is standard add-on. Honestly speaking, customer experience has gone downhill a lot. I have seen a great improvement in customer dealing and food quality. It is safe to say that I will love to eat here. Couple from Lahore working there are very friendly and cooperative."

"Food taste good. Price was reasonable until last year. Their posted price on the wall and actual price is not the same and higher than posted price. Didn’t appreciate the price increase. I would have give it a 5 star but I couldn’t given the one of the female staffs super rude behavior. Our friends go to the cafe as well and honestly we are tired of her rude demeanor."
