"Made two purchases here: two pairs of pants that were getting hemmed and a custom tux. Pants came back too short the first time even after pinning them in the store, had to get them lengthened again to be wearable. Tux came back as if it were made for someone else - my guess is the Armory takes a pre-made tux a size larger and tailored it to fit me, which lead to its botched proportions now. Tux shirt too long for the sleeves of the jacket. Decent selection of shoes, accessories and ties. Will not be coming back after two headaches of an investment. EDIT: Bought two shirts from there as well, at the same time as I had shirts made at a custom tailor and with some other ready to wear shirts. The two Armory shirts didn't hold up as well as the custom ones and the other store bought ones - the cuff ripped off one Armory shirt and the collar starts falling off the other, while buttons seem to just break apart. I launder/press all my shirts at the same dry cleaner, and the Hundred Hands shirts by the armory literally fell apart after a bit over a year of wearing."

"The Armoury is by far the best menswear shop that I have visited in the States. I had the pleasure working with Alex. He was very in depth with his knowledge and fitting. After I had chosen the Tokyo Jacket to go home with, he pointed out two sweaters that fit perfectly which is hard in my case since my measurements are tricky here in the States. "Fab store.. The decor, service and ambience is exactly the kind of place for blokes to get some retail therapy. Decor is designed like an 'old library' complete with step ladder. Clothes are displayed neatly and not 'in your face'. Spacious enough to have a walk around comfortably. Yep! Cool place, cool vibe."
