Michaels

"Went in to get some specific yarn/colors for a crochet project I’ve been working on and got yelled at by an incredibly rude sales associate for checking the bins bellow the racks for one of the colors I needed. I’ve been going to this Michaels for years and have actually been advised by an associate in the past to check the restock bins if I didn’t see the color I needed that they usually carry. This woman blatantly yelled at me asking what I was doing (while “helping” other customers), then came up to me and got in my face and chewed me out about (god forbid) checking the bins. So way to go Michaels of Eatontown, you’ve just lost yourselves a very loyal customer. Horrible!"

"The staff are very nice but so not use them for framing. This store doesn't have a framer but they don't tell you that when you bring your piece in. Ordered a frame, took my art home, was supposed to be called when it came in, no call for a month. I go in they tell me the frame is there, I bring the art in they tell me they will call when it's done. No call. Then I bring the painting home, clearly no one looked at it or bothered to ask me, it's framed upside down with the artist signature in the upside down in the top corner. Price is good, but not worth the stress."

"Usually live a Michael's but their Christmas selection was abysmal. I mean, come on. One wreath left? All the Michael's I've been to, at least in the south, they have plenty of everything. The overall selecting of items is not very large. Totally disappointed"

"I'm back into crocheting and now trying my hand at painting. I came to get a canvas and some yarn today and left with a really nice Fall sign for the den and a few decorations for Chanukah and Christmas! I hit a 40% off sale so that was an added bonus. I like ordering online but still love a good standing retail store. Glad we still have Michael's for our projects and then some!"

"For the most part, this store has everything i want. And I'm a professional artist, so that says a lot. I've done pickup orders and online orders, and everything has been prepared and shipped without flaws, without problems. There's definitely things they have online that I would prefer they have in-store, but.....what are you going to do?"
