"At Backward Glances, I felt like I was transported back in time. They have quality vintage items that are stocked every week! It was a lot of fun browsing the store; you never know what treasures you can stumble upon. I bought a vintage jean jacket with silver embroidery and sequins; it was in mint condition. I also found 80s banana hair clips, which is awesome, because the modern ones are just not the same. Great prices, great selection, great service. I will certainly be back!"

"I was putting a 70's outfit together for our family's Xmas party and needed a few key items when I ran across their website and checked it out. I'm very glad I did. Cindy called me personally and I told her what I needed and I gave her my measurements, she called me back in a hour or so with everything I needed IN MY SIZE! She had it all and sent it out to me! I'm from Alabama and her store is located in New Jersey and she sent them out that next morning. I'm so thankful I was lead to her retro, cool, and obviously very well stocked store. My advise to anyone looking for that hard to find specific item to give Backward Glances a call and they will have several choices to pick from. "I originally brought a costume thinking it was a vintage. After I found out that it wasn’t, they where very accommodating and nice despite my quite negative review. Would recommend for a fun time, but be sure to double check if the clothing is a costume or not to avoid my mistake."

"Drove here to find disco themed attire and they did not disappoint! They have pieces from every decade, including accessories, shoes, and t-shirts. The owner is an absolute doll and helped my little girl find exactly what she needed. She was so patient and professional. We will most certainly be back! It was well worth the 1.5 hr drive from Morris County!"

"2nd hand fashion from different periods in time (50ies, 60ies,...). Very clean, clothes do not have the musty smell usually typical for those stores, but are fresh and ready to wear. They were really helpful and friendly there, felt welcome and left with a lovely dress for only 30$."
