Shorebreak Pizza Grille

"My husband and I have been to Shorebreak many times over the years and we’ve always had a wonderful experience! The food is really tasty. He loves all of the jerk chicken dishes and I loved the pastas and pizzas I ordered. Their dishes are traditional (in a good way) and tasty and the prices are reasonable compared to some other places nearby. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We usually eat on the back (covered) patio, but the inside looks like it has been updated. A hidden gem in Avalon!"

"This place is great. We had some time to kill before checking into our hotel, so we stopped in for lunch. The Sunday pizza special was great. Pizza was delicious and you would have never guess it was less than $10. Though it was a bit of an afterthought when we ordered, the cheese curds were a highlight. In face, they were the best I've ever had! Add in a good local beer selection and great service and this place is a can't miss!"

"My first time eating and let me say it was fantastic! The jerk chicken platter had a good portion of everything especially the chicken surprisingly and the shrimp corn chowder was off the charts…… really good! I will be back!"

"Reservation for 8 went thru but when we got there the outdoor garden closed for a party. Offered us two booths so we ended up squeezing into one. Would have been nice if they called to tell us. The margherita pizza had a few unripened tomatoes in the center. Not the best. The fries were cold and hard. Lemonade left a lot to be desired. The worse was the pretzel with crab and cheese. I asked for no crab or cheese. Came with cheese but was cold and hard and yet they still tried to charge me $16. They did adjust the price when I complained. This is my first trip to Avalon. Recommendations were given to me for Shorebreak. Honestly would never go back again. Again this is my experience but wanted to share."

"We happened upon this place and decided to give it a try. Wow, we were not disappointed! Natalie, our waitress was friendly and helpful and the food was awesome! I’d highly recommend the bacon wrapped scallops (you only get 2, but they’re huge) and the fish tacos. Make sure you get the side of rice and beans with your tacos as the black beans (as doctored up by the chef) were the best I’ve ever tasted. There are many selections to chose from on the menu, and it was hard to chose just one! In addition to seating inside and out front, they also have seating out back that is quiet, secluded and under an awning. It is very peaceful and beautifully landscaped out back and we thoroughly enjoyed that spot. We’ll definitely return soon!"
