"We tried the first time tonight was amazing !! Was greeted by Kim who was so bubbly and personable . Joe our waiter was so knowledgeable and you can tell has Been in the business along time we actually thought Kim and Joe were partners in the business the way they took pride in there business , there excellent customer service !! My daughter kept asking Joe his opinion on food and he was personable and funny !! the owners so lucky to have them they are amazing at what they do . Daniel and Kathy were very nice also . It was decorated so adorable for the holidays and the music was very festive . We had chicken dishes that were very good and my husband had a shrimp dish that was fantastic!! Merry Christmas !!"

"I rarely leave comments but had to for this lovely little restaurant. Wonderful dinner at Saltimbocca. First time but we'll be back. The food is absolutely delicious. We started with a Caesar salad that was crisp and well seasoned. We both had specials for dinner. I had a filet mignon with a truffle wine sauce and my dinner companion had a bolognese pasta. Everything was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Not the usual Jersey shore Italian restaurant Fare. The servers were pleasant, efficient, and very professional ensuring that we enjoyed our experience. The restaurant is small and a little noisy but so well worth it."

"Our first time experience at Saltimbocca was a home run. From the service to the dish is was first rate. The three star rating for atmosphere was for being seated next to the front door which later became very cold."

"If this was my first time coming to Saltimbocca, I would NEVER be back after this experience. RESPECT as a customer does matter and we saw none of it. We booked our reservation 2 hours before going and when we got there, people were hanging outside and filled the entire lobby. Must be a good restaurant right? Absolutely not, guests were hanging behind the hostess counter because there was no space and the hostess was no where to be found. She did the bare minimum to even look guests in the face while we were all in this crowded lobby. An hour later, we finally get our table. We were sat and greeted by our waiter, who was overall amazing. We got oil for our bread, but no bread for 20 min. The bread was baking in the oven supposedly. We asked for the bread again and it came out frozen in the middle. After riddling off the 15 specials for the evening we placed our order. We ordered a few appetizers but one of them was not edible. It had a strange after taste and we told the waiter this appetizer was not working for us. We weren’t asking for an explanation, it simply had a bad after taste. The waiter came by later to tell us that he told the chef about the after taste and the response from the chef was that it was fresh from today and if they had a problem with the dish that we should go back to the kitchen and say it to his face. We would have loved the chef to come around and say hello as he did with every other table. We got out main courses which were decent but given the full experience of the evening we were ready to leave before the evening even started. I would like to caveat that we have been to this restaurant before and had way higher expectations. Unfortunately, both the service and food didn’t even come close. Fast food restaurants have better customer service than this place. After this experience, we will not be coming back and have told others to reconsider their options in the area."
