"Never a bad meal here and have been going to the Captains Inn my whole life. Today I got the shrimp and giant cheese ravioli in Vodka sauce. Was delicious!"

"We were there for an event in the main restr. (not the waterfront tiki bar they own across the street - which is Very popular, esp. in the summer!), in the large, back, reception room. Service was Wonderful, accommodating, friendly, fast (which is hard to find these days!) Food was Delish. Everyone at my 8-top table loved their meals. It is an Older, well-known place. A local classic, give it a try!"

"Coming to the Captain's Inn tiki bar always reminds me of summer. The nice breezes by the river, the boats coming and going, the outdoor experience and live music, this is pinnacle of summer for me! The burger was amazing, and for the price the crab cake was also very good. Very decent price for a dozen clams which probably were still in the water earlier that day. If you really want to feel summertime, come out here, play, eat and stay for the live music. Definitely try to catch the naked apes, they are amazing!"

"Food was good but not great. Taste was good but portions were smaller than last time I was there. My clam was hiding under a green bean. Stuffed flounder hardly had any stuffing, and fish was small. The scallops were plenty and flavorful but had no char on them. Baked potatoe was small and dry. All in all it was a good meal not great and expensive. I'll come again in the off-season. It was much better. Service was very good."
