"I stopped into Take Us For Granite purely on a whim; a few days prior, I had discovered a crack in in our kitchen countertop - it literally had come out of nowhere. I didn't think that they'd be able to help, but boy, was I wrong! I figured I would walk into the showroom and be told that they don't do repair work - BUT THEY DO! Dan showed up the very next day and explained that what I was looking at wasn't a crack, but a fissure. Apparently this is a common occurrence. I was thoroughly educated by Dan, and took away some great information - all while he did the repair right in front of me. *Note: you CAN put hot stuff on granite...but don't leave a crock pot on there for hours on end - that's what caused our issue! Dan repaired the fissure in about twenty minutes time, and the price was MORE than fair. Honestly, a repair kit and my own frustration of trying to do it myself (probably poorly) would've cost more. Now, instead of looking like a crack in the stone, it looks like a naturally occurring nuance - which is par for the course with this type of repair work. I was so pleased that I definitely see myself going back to T.U.F.G. when I'm ready to tackle a granite project - or just a repair! Thank you Dan & Michelle for making this such a prompt, pleasurable, experience!"

"Our quartz countertops project met all expectations from quality, aesthetics, and value. Dan (owner) and Michele (office manager) recommended a beautiful Quartz material with nice grains that carried nicely through the thickness of the edges and was impervious to our attempts to stain or burn the sample they provided. The crew also did a great job laying out the grain of the Quartz so that it flows nicely between 3 adjacent sections. This is a small business where the owner is personally working side by side with the other craftsman, ensuring delivery of a high-quality installation while a lean operation, without a lot of idle equipment or staff, allows for competitive pricing. Our lead time may have been a couple of weeks longer than with some larger shops, but the attention to detail will be with us for years to come."
