"This place looks like you time traveled to the 70s. I mean that in a good way. It seems like its a hang out for locals that come there often. They know most peoples names that eat there and ask your name if they don't. The food looked delicious and when I was there waiting for my hoagie three different people asked if I was being helped. I got an Italian hoagie that ranks high on my list. Fresh, high quality meats and it is done north jersey style with the roll cut in half with the top of the roll placed on top of everything. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area of Asbury Park."

"The service and servers outshine the food. They have a limited standard menu with zero creativity. Expensive for the quality, OJ looks and tastes like Tang. The egg and cheese omelet was funky; likely suspects were either cheap "orange" cheese or oil. The Pumpkin pancake was way underdone. The toast was good! No lox on the menu. But, in their defense, they are constantly swamped, and locals seem to love it. I'll pass by next time."
