"Yesterday, I was at Long Branch and saw this joint. curious about what it has to offer... is it the same as halal food guys or something else- let's try it- they have 3 options- Wrap PITA or Bowl Bowl does not have a rice option, it has something called couscous – don’t know what it was, so did not try. I chose Pita bread - they spread 3 types of Hummuses (I chose Harissa, Tzatziki, and Zesty) with beans, spinach, Chicken Shawarma, toppings (Onions, cabbage, Beets, tomato, etc...), and dressing... you can choose whatever you want out of their spreads, proteins, toppings, hummus – it’s cool...mind it- their hat sauce can be really hot. Sweet owners, helping you to choose cause let's accept it, it can be confusing sometimes. Yes, it was so messy while eating - but I loved it. On a busy day, there could be a cleanliness issue - just ignore it. they are trying their best. The portions are generous and very satisfying, and the menu is all very fresh and healthy. This is a great take-out spot that I recommend to everyone."

"Love this place! Hummus Republic has become our family's "go-to" food spot on our weekly beach visits to Long Branch! I've been in about 4 times now and with each visit I get to try something new. I love being able to build my own bowl and the variety that it offers. Finally got to try the Earth burger and it is my new favorite! The staff was great! As a vegetarian and with other health restrictions, I found the staff to be informative and helpful. Happy eating!"
