"Good store except the staff particularly the guy in the deli section named “delon” demon” whatever … he had a very bad attitude toward the customer. I believe that guy has no customer service orientation before he started working in wawa …"
"POOR SERVICE! After paying for food, I asked the person behind the counter for the little plastic bag they put items like soup and mac-n-cheese so I could exit the store. Although I had several sand witches, I was told "NO! The State of NJ does not allow it". My response: if I had purchased soup, you would have put it in a plastic bag. There is no such thing in NJ as the PLASTIC BAG POLICE (PBP) that will come hand cuff the manager and take them away. The only PBP are private citizens thinking they are the only one who can save the planet. The counter person was rude with a scowl and I asked her if she was willing to lose my business over a small plastic bag that would have automatically come with my soup purchase and she had no response. I took this as YES, your patronage is not needed or wanted...so with so many other competitors with Wawa, I will be going elsewhere."
"Work the overnight shift and often have to wait long periods of time for a food order. Had to wait for employees to have full blown conversations before they would stark working but get told well u can order ahead. No u can talk and work at the same time."
"I've noticed this past week that every wawa I go to, they not only yell out the number of my order, but the item I ordered too. I don't want the whole store to know what I ordered. The number is fine. It's all they ever used to call"
"Usually have no issue here everyone’s super sweet but today I was just really set off. The cashier, Lizbeth I believe, just seemed like she didn’t want to be there at all. I understand we have bad days but as someone who has management experience and interaction with an employee as such can ruin the whole experience. She was leaning sluggishly against the register, her voice was dragging and monotone, and while she was waiting for my payment was leaning on counter picking her at her nails just overall very uninterested. It’s definitely not her fault and maybe she’s just having an off day but someone needs to make sure the employees are doing okay and motivate a little more. She seems young so maybe she doesn’t understand yet she needs someone to explain that’s not okay"
