Reviews of Scotto's Pizza
"Went in to pick up a few slices for dinner. The resturant has a side where you can sit and eat the slices and there is also a separate resturant side for dining in. The place was clean and well maintained. The pizza slices were very good and reasonably priced."
"Terrible ordering experience. Called door dash order after 1.5 hours and even after calling to confirm with the store. They even tried to blame the cancellation on door dash. Didn't offer to make it right, just said they were really busy at the moment. Don't bother."
"After patronizing this restaurant for decades, the last several visits were just okay food and the service has questionable. As a patron who values inclusivity and respect, I feel compelled to share my recent experience, which has left my family deeply disheartened. I observed an interaction between the owner, the owner's daughter and a lovely family that raised serious concerns about the establishment's commitment to treating all customers (regardless of race or background) with equal respect and dignity. A family, who happened to be African American, was denied service under the pretext of not having a reservation. This in itself could be a standard practice; however, the manner in which the situation was handled by the owner (and older woman and her daughter) was upsetting to watch. The family, comprising of about 6 or so adults and 6 children, conducted themselves with grace and politeness, a stark contrast to the yelling and temper tantrums displayed by the owners. The owner's approach was not only unprofessional but also carried undertones of disrespect as well as discrimination. The aggressive demeanor, particularly towards a peaceful and loving family, was unsettling and contrary to the principles of hospitality and basic decency that everyone deserves. I wonder if my Caucasian co-workers and I came here for work for lunch one day, if we would have been treated with such disrespect and so easily told 'I will not serve you'. Would the lack of reservation still have been a deal-breaker, or would accommodations have been made? This disparity in treatment, whether intentional or not, casts a shadow on the ethos of this restaurant. This experience has profoundly impacted my view of your establishment and due to this incident, I, along with my family and business colleagues, will no longer patronize this business. It is my hope that this feedback serves as a catalyst for introspection and positive change in your customer service approach, especially in how you interact with diverse clientele."
"Sometimes Scotto's Pizza is good, sometimes it's bad - this time, it was only okay. I ordered a pepperoni slice and a sausage slice, but neither quite lived up to my expectations. The crust was a bit too doughy for my liking, and the toppings didn't have as much flavor as I was hoping for. However, I will say that the slices were generously sized and the price was reasonable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, with plenty of seating and a friendly staff. While my experience was only okay, I would be willing to give Scotto's another try to see if I can find a menu item that I truly enjoy. Overall, Scotto's Pizza in East Windsor is a decent option if you're in the area and looking for a quick bite to eat. However, keep in mind that sometimes the quality can be hit or miss."
