Just Salad,

"I love Salads and can’t be happier that a salad place opened up close to where I live. I have been there three times now since it opened and it just opened a week ago. Salads are great and wraps are delicious. The only thing that is lacking to give this store a 5 is the staff. When I went in for the third time there was 5 staff members on and no one in the store but me. I approached the counter and asked for the California Cobb Salad with crispy chicken instead of grilled. She said there will be an extra charge. I asked politely why and she said it’s crispy. I said I am substituting one chicken for another. She went and asked her Manager and he said this time we will sub. Still not sure why it would be more but I said okay I then asked no egg and add beets. She then said that will be another charge. I said I am substituting the egg for beets. She said let me go ask my manager. He said okay. She kept looking at the paper on how to make this salad and then started the actual making of the salad but 10 minutes have already passed and the other 4 employees didn’t offer to help her. She got the salad together and then asked what kind of dressing. I said the dressing it comes with. Well apparently she had put on the wrong dressing so the manager had to come over and make a whole new salad. This whole process took 25 minutes from the time I entered the store till I left. I understand it’s a new place but training is key when opening a new store. I am guessing the employee was new but she should be shadowed by someone experienced to help her out especially when there was 4 other people on and one of them being a manager. I also went in the first day and had a long wait for them to make the salad. I chalked it up to new store just opening. Being there three times now and experiencing on the third time the above I am hoping it will turn around quickly. I am excited to have a salad place and hope this will be my go to one."
