"40% off cat supplies sign w/ examples starting $6.99 sale price $4.19, $8.99 sale price $5.39, etc.So bought 3 bottles litter off shelf but they rang up $5.99 full price.Went to customer service woman with receipt & pic of aisle/sign was told doesn't scan discounted & since sign starts with the $6.99 example the $5.99 items aren't discounted.I stated sign makes no mention of having to be $6.99 & up for discount so she asked male employee next to her.He coldly & without eye contact said that there's another sign stating pet essentials aren't discounted.I asked if that was a brand or category? He said category so I asked how to tell supply from essential? He said the food i'm buying is essential.I asked how litter is food? He said litter is essential too. I returned all of my items out of frustration with the first woman who coldly & unapologetically told me my kohls cash was now worth less."
