"Very nice cafe located a few feet off the D train, the baristas are very nice and helpful. The food and drinks come out quickly despite there usually being only one person managing the drinks, food, and register. Everyone I recommended this place to have loved it. Despite the small space, there's always room to sit and relax while you enjoy your drink. Love coming here, and love that this is my local cafe. Definitely recommend to visit and try if you're looking for a new coffee spot!"
"It's really such a great little cafe! A tiny bit expensive, but I would say the prices are reasonable and great. The service is great, and I'm amazed at how fast the girl who was serving us worked. 5/5 really recommend this place :)"
"Great coffee. Very good warmed croissant. The layte was best I've had. Had a beautiful notes and enriching espresso notes. Very unique."
"Best coffee place in 5 miles radius and maybe more. It’s neighborly, it’s quiet, it doesn’t have laptop zombies and coffee actually does taste great! It is conveniently located just feet away from “Bay 50 Street” subway station. It doesn’t have outdoor space though would greatly benefit from one. It is a small place inside - 4 small tables and a window bar stand. Chairs and benches are comfortably flat and lack whatever cushioning our bottoms are used to. Which is incredibly healthy, I know for sure. You have street side window and mixed lighting of spot lights and some hanging incandescent style lamps. It is not gaudy, it is well-worn just like any other honest to god place. Walls maybe chipped just a little and a/c unit maybe a tad noisy, but overall - great vibe to this place. Selection of drinks is wide. From teas and lemonades and smoothies to all usual suspects - classic coffee drinks, frappes, local specials. I ordered a cappuccino with oatmilk. I mean it was 9 in the morning. No offense here. No need to shout “Attenzione, borseggiatrici! Attenzione, pickpocket!” Coffee was excellent. They served it in paper cup though I told barista that I’m gonna drink it here. I talked to barista and he gave me a loyalty card. After 10 drinks you get one for free! Or after 9 snacks you get one free. Oh, they have snacks! They got chocolate marble cake, they have lemon or banana loaf, selections of croissants etc. They all look delicious! Barista advised me to get oat milk brown sugar shaken espresso next time. So I am definitely coming back. And so should you! UPDATE 08/03/23 Shaken espresso is way to go! It is really awesome! Definitely will come back for more. And chocolate croissant is very filling!"
"My friend Reyna first introduced me to this hidden gem of a cafe a year ago. Since then, it's been my local go-to cafe whenever I want to experience that North Brooklyn artsy vibe within a short distance of my home. Situated at the edge of Bath Beach and only blocks away from the Coney Island community, one wouldn't expect such a funky, independently-owned cafe where every little detail shows that the owner cares about presentation and quality. Once you enter, you're transported into a caffeine sanctuary with that small-town feel not realizing that you're in the highly urban area of South Brooklyn. The space is small and seating is limited, but what the owner did with it is amazing. Every available space is decorated with that rustic, hand-designed feeling. On the drink menu, quality hot coffee, cappucino, espresso, mochas, frappes, and teas with many flavor options are available. The owner also provides free lemon-infused water. There's now an expanded food menu that includes my personal favorite, avocado toast that is out of this world. There are about a dozen fresh pastries to choose from including scones, croissants, and cake slices to complement your meal. If you live in the South Brooklyn communities of Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Dyker Heights, Bath Beach, and others and you love cafes with that genuine mom-and-pop feel, then this place should be on your must-visit list."
