"I used to come every year and i always purchased a couple gifts for myself. This year I came twice and it was not opened. The website says 10am. Nope!!! So I call, the lady sounded perturbed I even asked the hours. She said 11am. So I walked down at at 11:10, not open! I am handicapped so walking is harder. She shows up at 11:30. I said oh great, she snaps, I will not open for 20 mins, after seeing me waiting!! I have crossed off the Purple Zebra from my trips from now on. Rudeness is not appreciated from a long time returning customer ."

"Firstly, is there a single thing in this store that you wouldn't take home?! Everything is beautifully crafted and tastefully chosen by the two lovely ladies who run the establishment. I've never been to the P.Z and left empty handed. I have always had a wonderful experience. Right off the bat, the owner Jane initiates tasteful conversation and shows her new gems within the store. And Tracy as well - she makes sure you get exactly what you like and shows you hidden gems you may have browsed right over. Purple zebra deserves 10/10 ratings because it's hard to come across lovely people AND a lovely store. Do yourself a favor and check out the super funky, super chic establishment in the heart of a sweet beach town!"

"This is such a wonderful boutique, with so many unique items! Jane (the owner) is fabulous and so kind. I'm not sure what the other review is talking about, as she's never been anything but pleasant...and I've been there many times and have never seen or smelled any incense. The uniqueness and high quality of her inventory is what brought me in, and I'm glad that I did. Check out this cool shop & support a worthy small business!"

"Now, I do not know what Nick K. over here is talking about. The first time I came into the shop today I was not attacked by any incense. In fact, she was not even burning any. I got 2 necklaces and one braclet all hand crafted by the owner. It was a truly unique shop. The owner was the one who assisted me, and let me tell you, kind as could be. Even gave me 10% off for my first time shopping. I cant wait to bring my mother this weekend! A positive experience all around, do not understand how someone could have left such a negative comment."
