"Great atmosphere! I wanted to catch up with a friend, and they had a quiet room to offer. Great music if you wanted too. Not many places can offer both. Plus delicious food and friendly service. It's nice to see Nicholas is still hands-on and greeting guests. I'm so happy for his well-deserved success."
"Excellent service, food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was inviting. I always enjoy having lunch or dinner here. My husband had a surprise party for me in the front room of the restaurant that can be made private by closing the door to the main restaurant. Both the service and food were incredible and all of the guests, including myself, all left feeling happy and satiated."
"The service here is amazing. The atmosphere is very clean, slightly upscale without being stuffy. The food is fine. I’ve been a few times and it’s nothing memorable. I’ve tried the pizza with potatoes, bacon and caramelized onions. The flavor combo was good but a lot bare spots on the pizza and the crust was tough. I’ve also had the suckling pig and there were cold congealed pieces of fat throughout the dish and the meat was cold. Seemed like the just didn’t warm it up enough. Beautiful restaurant just wish the food was better."
"What a much needed transformation. The fancy shtick they had going on didn’t work. This one does. Started with the fried cheese curd with roost sauce. Perfectly fried without being oily. The the bread with ricotta was weak so do not order it. It is just rolls of bread with ricotta in the corner of the plate. Nothing to it. We ordered the salads for dinner and they were delicious. Salads are salad but these were a step above. The chopped salad was the best. I also had no idea Nicholas owns Nicholas Creamery too. We scarfed down the Brownie with peanut butter ice cream. Good job Nicholas on the transformation!"
"One of best places to dine in New Jersey. We celebrated our anniversary here and loved the food. The French onion soup is a perfect start to your dinner plans. All cocktails are beautiful composed and will make you to crave more. Staff here is very nice and cheerful. Only thing we felt disheartened was that we didn’t receive an anniversary plating of desert(my wife was kinda sad for missing out on blowing candle since we saw pictures of other parties celebrating birthdays and anniversary here)."
