Town Square Diner

"It was a busy Friday morning. We are seniors and were able to squeaked in 10:55am. When the waitress finally showed up (all the tables were occupied), she was kind enough to let us ordered the early bird special. We ordered eggs over easy. One of the 4 eggs had a bit of egg yolk coming thru, but we did not complain, considering how busy they were. Also, instead of waiting for all the pancakes (4) finished cooking, she brought out 2 pancakes, 4 eggs and 2 hams, so the food would not be cold. When the other pancakes were done, the chef surprised us when she brought out 2 pancakes (as expected) and 2 extra eggs over-easy. We were flabbergasted. We really did not expect that kind of service and consideration from a diner, so we tipped extra. We've been there since October and became a weekly customer for 3 months. Food is OK for diner but all the service staff are very nice and with a smile."

"I have been to this diner several times and I cannot say enough about the service and food. The wait staff (and I've encountered quite a few) are always smiling, sweet, and attentive. The food has always been fresh and delicious. From dinner specials to breakfast options, I have never had a bad experience. Truly one of the best diners around."

"One of the best omelettes I’ve had! Food was very tasty and came out aesthetically pleasing. Service was great, they greet you promptly and have great recommendations. The atmosphere is modern, but cozy. A lot of really nice breakfast options, including some interesting flavored coffees, and drinks."

"I’ve been here twice so far, and both times I ordered off the specials. The specials come with a soup or salad and dessert. For an extra $1.99 you can upgrade and get one of their cakes like I did today. I had salmon puttanesca the first time I came. The sauce was very good, but the salmon was overcooked and dried out. I had the matzo ball soup with my dinner which I enjoyed. Today I had the baked ziti and meatballs Parmesan. The baked ziti was good, but the meatballs were horrible. They were dried out and weren’t tasty. I had the chocolate mousse cake for dessert which was very good! My server Aniyah very sweet and attentive. Overall it’s food you would expect from a diner. It was decent, and I’d come back if I wanted something from a diner."

"***Edited to reflect today’s experience.*** This time we ate inside. Once again, staff was friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. Gave it 5 stars for consistent friendly service and fast, fresh food. Never a problem having the coffee refilled which is always a plus! Our server, Amy, was super sweet. Outdoor seating allows dogs."
