"Excellent excellent food. Best soup dumplings in NJ. Other dishes are delicious as well. We had the leek and pork dumplings, the beef chow fun, the green beans with pork. Love the free hot tea and the chili oil at the table. Service is very minimal. You pick up a menu at the front desk and write your order in, hand it to them and wait. Food comes out quickly and piping hot. Pay at the counter too."

"Authentic Chinese family restaurant, atmosphere included(that's how you know it's legit); the beer chicken was just like the kind I had growing up, they have chinese sodas/drinks, tea; the flat noodles, soup dumplings, everything we had was amazing. Could not recommend more for anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine."

"Been eating and ordering here for YEARS… used to go in but usually i just get takeouts The 5 star is purely for the shredded beef and peppers noodle soup…it is absolutely crack to me… add some vinegar to that bish and go ham! Soup dumplings is ok locally ,but if you really want the best soup dumplings around mid jersey you would have to go to edison Recently tried their zhajiangmian but its too sweet for me"

"Food was great but seems we were ignored a bit until other groups left. Took almost 20 minutes for them to pay attention to us and take our order. We had to grab our own menus and just sit patiently and wait. The food was great and I would eat there again, probably a take out order though."

"Ordered take out from Shanghai Bun for the first time. Great place for authentic casual Chinese food. Very efficient! Next time will try dining in. Highly recommend their steamed pork dumplings."
