"This store was empty with 1 other customer when we entered. The fitting Room was closed. There were two female employees behind the register. I approached and asked about the return policy and both employees stated exchange or store credit only. I proceeded to ask about the trying on clothes in the fitting room and was told that it was going to be cleaned soon that is why it was closed. There were no other employees in this store to clean the fitting room so I asked for an exception for my daughter to try on three items since they don't accept returns for a refund. I was told that the manager said it needed to be closed because It was going to get cleaned soon. I asked to speak with the manager, and one of the two employees stated that she was the manager and that they would not be opening the fitting room. Shortly after we brought our purchases up to the register and upon completion on the transaction, both my daughter and I said thank you three times. This was received with silence. I even stated when somebody says thank you to you, you are supposed to respond and she simply stared at me as well as the manager and neither said anything. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 48 years. This company needs to hire competent socially appropriate employees and not staff that refuse to interact with customers and have no social skills. Charlotte Russe should be embarrassed of the staff that they hire at this Eatontown location."

"Rude staff and low quality clothing. I left the store very frustrated. They closed their fitting room, so you can no longer try on clothes before purchasing them. Before I bought items, I asked the woman working if clothes can be returned since you can’t try them on. She told me Yes. I went back to the store an hour later because the clothes didn’t fit, and she told me I can’t return clothes. It was the same woman who told me an hour ago that I can return items. She told me I can only exchange or get store credit. She decided to leave that big part out when I originally asked. I felt lied to and scammed by this store. I will never step foot into this store again."

"Judging from the reviews, I think I had a totally different manager than others did. This one was super helpful and completely helped my daughter and I find outfits for an upcoming summer wedding…down to even shoes. Place was clean and everyone made sure they greeted us. I’m guessing the new reviews worked. I’ll definitely be back though for my daughter’s college wardrobe!"

"The worst experience of my life. I have never been treated with such disrespect by a manager never the less I believe Denise Hicks needs to stay home if she doesn’t know how to treat customers. Literally screaming at me in front of every customer in the store. All because i wanted to do an exchange but didn’t have my receipt. All other stores do exchanges without receipts. I don’t normally shop at charlotte rouse and after this experience I never will. Now i haya dress that doesn’t fit."

"I'm looking at all the horrible reviews of the manager. And I had the same experience today in CHARLOTTE RUSSE, MONMOUTH MALL. SHE NEEDS TRAINING. It was HORRIBLE!!!!!!! We are visitors and we were just inquring about a double payment very respectfully and it turned so bad on their end that she and her assistant manager called security in for us and we were run out of the store. She told us do not speak to her neither come close. This is an understatement but it was the POOREST SERVICE We've ever received."
