"Freshest vegetable Chalupas I ever had and the only truly authentic Swiss Enchilada in NYC. Their coffee was only the instant kind but deliciously prepared and served in traditional mugs. Calm, quiet, yet colorfully tasteful setting and hostess was as genuinely inviting and personable as family. Reasonable prices too."

"This is now officially my new favorite Mexican restaurant in my neighborhood. The woman that took my order was so friendly and accommodating. She knew by my order that I was vegetarian and made all the food to order for me specifically. The food is amazing. 10 stars! Highly recommend! Update I recently had the Enchiladas with Mole sauce and let me tell you...it's a revelation! Incredible! Best I've ever had!"

"We went in here on a Sunday afternoon with our two kids. The place has not long opened and we were the only customers. It’s a genuine family run place and the food was some of the best Mexican I’ve had in NYC. The grownups had tacos with rice and refried beans, whilst the lady who was waiting on us made the kids a plate of chicken nuggets, chips and quesadillas. The salsas with the tacos and with the nachos were top notch. The whole meal came to less than $40! Overall well worth a visit if you’re in the neighbourhood and like Mexican food. It’s BYOB by the way."
