"After a few visits, I do like Maman, but this location has its issues. The coffee is great. Good variety of drinks. It's kid friendly - lots of strollers and toddlers on a Saturday. The food is overpriced for what it is. Warm food comes out cold in the middle (microwaved?) and portions are small compared to similarly priced fare at sit-down restaurants a couple of blocks West. Table service is spotty and slow. Had the wrong order delivered once (omelet ingredients were incorrect) and didn't bother changing it because the server was nowhere to be seen. There are signs around saying it's laptop free but the last two times I was there, people had laptops out so I'm not sure about that. I like the vibes, but I'll get my coffee to go next time."

"The place was lovely and inviting to relax and enjoy their offerings BUT no matter how great the place is when people behind the counter does not appreciate the business they are receiving and CANNOT BE courteous and grateful - please find people that will be willing to exercise customer service by saying Thank You or knows how to show appreciation for buying from your business! Before i decided on spending $140 and already noticed the Manager and staff at this Hudson Waterfront store show no appreciation and when i mentioned calling 2x earlier that day their reaction was cold and dismissive! I’ve convinced myself maybe she and the barista had a long day! However, the nonsense of not acknowledging an order of 2 dozen Nutty Chocolate Chip cookies at $65 a dozen and other items made me and a friend feel dismissed - should’ve been reason enough to take our business elsewhere! Message to the owner - please train your staff to be more friendly and appreciate business coming your store! This really bad experience from your store staff and Manager who doesn’t know how to say Thank you and acknowledge orders have been a consistent bad review for this location! Never coming back again !"

"Food looks great and tastes good. Pastries that we tried are the kouign maman, pumpkin croissant cube, and paris to new york croissant were all rock hard. Espresso based drinks are only warm not hot. The decor is perfect but the food and quality is not up to par."

"This place is amazing!!! It was on my bucket list for a while and I’m finally here! The store was very stunning as if you walk into an oasis because you can’t tell the installation until you walk in. The store was kinda hard to find, I was expecting a visible sign but I saw the small A frame sign on the sidewalk. The food was great, as well as the coffee. I got the lavender latte and ice latte for my wife. I love how they carefully curated everything and the plates and mugs are all beautiful as if you are having a nice British afternoon tea. We got raspberry croissant and pistachio cake, I love them both! It’s more like a self-serve situation here, after you place the order, if it took time to make they will give you a tag to place in the table. Then when it’s ready, they’ll hand it to your table. Also this is one of the nice cafe that is kid friendly, they offer high chair for the little one and the restroom has a changing table which was very thoughtful!
