"The workers unfortunately never seem happy to have you. Also, it feels like they take on too many online orders which get priority over customers walking in and ordering (it’s my belief that this should be the opposite). Pro-tip: If you order ahead online (which I recommend), note that it way overestimates the ready time. You can expect your food to be ready within 10 minutes ordering for pickup."
"Ordered the Capri Panini (grilled chicken and pesto) and the Hoboken (prosciutto and porchetta) and both lived up to their descriptions. Large sandwiches with generous portions of meat and cheese but still hold together nicely. I did takeout and was pleased that they travelled well. Also tried their pistachio croissant which was buttery and soft. I actually thought the filling was phenomenal - really rich and not too sweet. A nice departure from the large, ultra flaky, darker croissants that are all the rage right now. Excited to order from Alessio’s again!"
