"I’d say this is one of the better white table cloth restaurants in Edgewater.. second to the river palm. Others are over priced for their mediocre food quality. But Bonita by the River had a wonderful atmosphere, amazing food, and great service too."

"I was taken here for my birthday and the food, drinks, atmosphere were great. A unique menu having Spanish and European foods aka the best food out there. Truffle mushroom ravioli cream sauce was excellent. Not photographed but recommended, the branzino ☺️ Highly recommend for date night or special occasion or just to treat yourself :)"

"Decided to check this place out for Happy Hour since a friend of my lives nearby. Overall, the outdoor area was very nice with flower drop from the ceiling to present a nice atmosphere. Indoor space was very open and big (almost felt like a venue) and the bar area was in the back, which is where we decided to sit. Our bartender was nice and was able to provide drinks in timely manner. We ordered the red and white sangria, which tasted just right and delicious! For food, we ordered their garlic shrimp and empanadas, which also tasted amazing! One thing to note is that the garlic shrimp didn’t come with bread, so make sure you order that as well to take advantage of their yummy garlic sauce to dip in :) Upon requesting the check, we were almost charged full price for 2 of our cocktails despite ordering 10min prior to happy hour ending, but other than that, this place was great and would definitely come back for a full meal next time."

"Excellent restaurant! Great location in Edgewater. The atmosphere of Bonita By The River is great as well! There is outdoor seating and a champagne bar where you can sip on champagne and try different oysters. The cocktails are phenomenal! The menu is diverse and all the food came out super tasty and made perfectly. The baked oysters champagne were incredible and the grilled pulpo was so fresh and grilled to perfection! The fried goat cheese and beet salad was amazing! Both the lobster ravioli and wild mushroom ravioli were great as well. I would highly recommended Bonita By The River as your next spot!"
