The inspiration for Box Cafe came from their love for their neighborhood, where they have lived and worked for almost 25 years.
Linda, with her sweet tooth and love for food adventures, and Sean, with his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for using quality ingredients, have combined their skills to create a unique dining experience in Jersey City. The cafe offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflects their own home design.

Linda from the café responded to an online inquiry immediately and same day we had the menu set and ready to go. The food, delivery, and set up was fantastic. I truly can’t say enough good things about working with her and their chef. We are so appreciative of how they threw this together last minute for us and our clients were very happy. Looking forward to working with them again in the future for another private event! We also had some dietary restrictions and they were able to put together amazing vegan and vegetarian options!"

"Box Cafe is a hidden gem! We had an amazing, intimate dining experience at this gorgeously designed cafe. The hospitality was first-rate, and the food was delicious. My girlfriend had salmon cooked over a blood orange, which she said was her favorite salmon of all time! I had the beef filet, which was incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked. All of the sides - from the carrots to the potatoes to the corn - were amazing. We also had two rounds of bread toasted to perfection, and a rich dark chocolate cake for dessert. We will definitely be going back and trying out the breakfast options! You need to check this place out, especially if you're looking for an intimate, French-inspired dinner. 10/10. Oh, and it's BYOB!"
