Restaurant 1915 3020 Seven Lakes Drive, Tomkins Cove, NY 10986

"The evening started great. When we sat down, water was immediately given. It took a little bit for someone to come over to wait on our table. But she was really friendly and very polite, answered whatever questions we had. The restaurant was not crowded and there were 3 servers in the area. We placed our appetizer and drink orders. Drinks came quick. Appetizer not too long of a wait. We placed our dinner orders. The food took almost 45 minutes to come to our table. The server only came to our table after 30 minutes to apologize for such a long wait. Offered us rolls which we were supposed to get anyway. Once the food came, my order was mixed up with the other person at our table but we were starving so we didn't make a big deal about it. The server never came to check on us during or after the meal. About 15 minutes after our plates were cleared, she came over with dessert menus. We were ready to order dessert but she didn't have a pen. Told us she would be right back. We sat there for almost 20 minutes. We watched the server takes orders from other tables but she never came back to our table. At that point we were so annoyed we said forget dessert and asked another server for the check. It took another 15 minutes for our original server to come and drop off the check to the table. The food was excellent once we got it. The atmosphere was awesome. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. She was very nice when she spoke to us but she was very inattentive, like we were so unimportant."

"We enjoyed the food after a long day of walking. I had the salmon and the penne. I tried a little of both. I enjoyed the food and it was really healthy. We also had some of the desserts."

"It is located inside a quaint little inn with a big lodge feel along the Appalachian Trail. Whether you are hiking through and need a good shower and a bed, or just visiting the area, this is a fantastic place to do it. There is fine dining available and the views are incredible. It is close proximity to West Point military college and only an hour from NYC. It has a park with a trail that runs around the small lake. It also has a pool and spa if you're just looking to relax."

"Delicious food and friendly staff. About six local microbrews on draft. Gorgeous masonry and décor. Clean bathroom and stylish atrium at entrance. Hard rock on radio but at unobtrusive volume."

"We came between 2-4PM ,the restaurant was closed (opens at 4PM) ,but the bar was open with a smaller food menu. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced, very nice selection of local beers and a full bar that can make you any drink you like. The highlight of the meal were the desserts that were just the perfect way to finish the meal. The service was super nice! And of course the ambiance and the location are perfection ,tons of things to do and see . Will definitely come back here !"
