"I have only been here once, and it’s now my favorite diner! Everything was exceptional here, from the service, the food, and the short wait time. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our server was attentive and anticipated our needs before we had to ask for anything. I went on my birthday during lunch, and it was busy, yet the service wasn’t lacking in any area."

"Had a great dinner so we came back for breakfast. Both were amazing and definitely will be coming back. The pasta and marinara sauce with chicken Parm was on point."

"Giving it 3 stars cause it's a good place but the food is average. Not that there's anything wrong with the place. I got the basic 2 eggs with a side of home fries and turkey sausage plus a side of french onion soup. They have one of the best French onion soup and is the star of the meal. Eggs were good (you can't mess that up). Sausage was alright. Didn't have that snap but was inedible. If I rated the home fries alone it would be a 1 star. They were just sad. Had a coffee and orange juice and it's unanimous that all diner coffee sucks. Service was prompt. Sat at the bar and the gentleman there was nice, kind, and took my order as soon as I was ready. Food was out quick too. Ambiance for a busy diner was nice. You get that American diner vibe and you get the peace of mind sitting alone at the bar. Overall I'll still come back here time to time."

"If you love Jersey diners then you’ll love the Saddle Brook Diner located off of Market Street as it's no small feat to have a thriving diner with all the competition. Upon arrival, one sees the murals of Americana on the walls and model train running across the top of the walls. While their menu is as extensive as any typical NJ establishment, everything on their menu is made well. From breakfast, to burger to dinner entrees one could always count on the food where my partner and I ordered for takeout dinner. We decided on two tonight’s specials - Chicken Primavera (Sauteed Chicken and Vegetables in a light cream sauce tossed in a Farfalle Pasta) and Seafood Bruschetta (Scallops,Shrimp,Calamari & Mussels, Sauteed in a White Wine Sauce,Tossed w/Bruschetta & Capellini Pasta). Both included either a soup or salad and house cake. The exceptional food remained hot in its containers with large portions. The orders were accurate because of the friendly and pleasant staff. Annette took the call and made sure we were taken care of. We can recommend this place."
