RP Prime Steakhouse Fair Lawn

"Went with family for the 1st time in Fair Lawn. As soon as we walked in, we were greated by both the manager and lady at desk with the biggest smiles. Was seated immediately with the waiter taking our drink orders. Drinks came quickly followed by menus and basket of fresh bread. Waiter very informative of dinners and answered all questions. Food came out very quick, hot and beyond delicious. Waiter checked on us twice if we needed anything. Was not rushed out like most places. Excellent experience and looking forward to next time."

"I used to be a frequent visitor of River Palm Terrace Fair Lawn, which used to be its previous establishment. I am so thrilled to see a rebranding under RP steakhouse. Food is 1000× better Interior is 1000x better 1000x cleaner and well maintained But they kept some of the friendliest staff. I will be coming here a lot"

"We just went for our first time to this steakhouse. Overall, this was our experience from start to finish: 1. Parking was confusing and very little parking available 2. Bread on table was plentiful and tasty. Unfortunately, the butter had a little piece of the paper left on it from the packaging (which I chose not to bring to the waiter's attention). Although a small thing, it really was disappointing. 3. Martinis were the worst part of our experience. Poorly made, way too sweet, couldn't even taste the actual alcohol, weird after taste. What is worse is that they did allow me to exchange it, but the next martini tasted just as bad and nothing like the flavor I ordered. The part that left the most sour taste in my mouth though was the waiter that took the drink away and tasted my drink that I had sent back and had an exchange with a coworker about the drink. I felt this to be extremely inappropriate and bizarre/unsanitary. I would never take a sip of a drink that a total stranger tried... 4. Porterhouse Steak for two was deliciously seasoned and just as good, if not better than some big name steakhouses in Brooklyn (PL and DiStefano's) 4. Sides: we were satisfied Overall with the sides. The Mac n cheese was great, fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned, but the mashed potatoes were underwhelming along with the side salad that came with the steak. 5. Lastly, I expected a cappuccino to cost $5-6, considering Manhattan prices but they charged $6.95, which felt steep. Service minus the drink hiccup was quick and efficient. Waiters were friendly, helpful, refilled water, and packed up our food. We are definitely willing to eat here again but without ordering any drinks."

"I had an absolutely fantastic experience at RP Prime Steakhouse Fair Lawn! This restaurant deserves a solid 5 stars. The food was not only delicious but exceeded all my expectations. The beef carpaccio was out of this world; I've never had anything quite like it. The tuna tartar and lobster were incredibly fresh, and the steak was top-notch. The service was impeccable, and the staff was exceptionally knowledgeable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. RP Prime Steakhouse is definitely the best spot for a memorable meal."

"Truly the most delightful time eating at this steakhouse!! In addition to the beyond spectacular food, the service is absolutely stellar!! The manager and his team have made sure to deliver an astounding eating experience that has made my business trip here to NJ/NY that much more enjoyable. This is my second time going this week, and tonight I had the Lobster Night special: To start, a healthy serving of Lobster Bisque (honestly the best I've ever had... brought a smile to my face with every spoonful), followed by a Lobster Ravioli which complemented the lingering taste of the bisque. The main course was a 1.5lb Lobster served with a side of sautéed Broccoli... YUM. Finally I had the homemade blueberry pie with a serving of vanilla ice cream... the perfect way to end my meal. Once again, I really want to commend the staff who made sure to check in throughout dinner with genuine kindness and attention to detail worthy of praise. The manager came around multiple times to speak with me and I can honestly say he and his staff are putting their heart into this restaurant. I cannot recommend this place more!"
