"amazing! ambiance was very instagram worthy and owners were incredibly kind. got a matcha takoyaki (not the best, but looked great) and an ube soft serve, which i highly recommend! the ube soft serve had great toppings. decorations were cute and they also had a photobooth! lots of unique seating and space"

"Cute quaint dessert shop that seems to specialize in filipino and Asian dessert fusion. All the menu items looked delicious but we ordered the ube desserts (ube sundae and ube taiyaki) since this is a filipino specialty. We were not disappointed. The purple color of the ube soft serve is very cool looking even if artifical color was added. (It made my lips and tongue purple for a good day). There was a strong ube flavor and not too sweet. The taiyaki was a little of the hard dry side. Perhaps because of the mochi? It was good nonetheless. Prices were on the higher side but perfect for a special treat or special occasion once in a while. Service was also very friendly. I cant wait to come back to try their othet mouth watering treats."

"Our first time in Kubo Cafe & Creamery in Nutley NJ so we weren’t sure what to expect but we’re so glad we found them! Tried #25 Purple Yam (Ube) Soft-Serve with Milk and Double Shot of Espresso at the Bottom) and it was delish! The ube cookies we had to go were to die for! Staff were super friendly and patient as we explored the menu! Highly recommend! We also learned that during summer they have halo-halo (which is Filipino cold dessert made up of crushed ice, evaporated milk or coconut milk, and various fruit ingredients! We’ll definitely be back!"

"Every inch of this place is a photo! It is such an adorable coffee shop right on the main street of Nutley! Ube is really having a moment right now and along with amazing flavor comes with amazing color I mean, did you see my tayaiki?? So good I ghly reccomend that also the mermaid Drink and any and all of their amazing pastries ! And very friendly and fun family run place to get some work done on your laptop also!"
