"Basically ignored by staff— one woman asked if I wanted to try on the items I was holding , took them from me wordlessly and walked away. Never spoke again- didn’t say which dressing room they were in , offer to help, nothing. We were ALONE in the store with three staff people chatting away, no one EVER offered to get another size, see what we were looking for … nothing. Extremely Uncomfortable — I buy Eileen fisher online regularly and was excited to try on different styles. Even my husband was shocked at our treatment. He usually gives everyone the benefit of the doubt— but the snub here was real. Don’t bother."

"One of my favorite places to shop. The sales personnel at the midtown Madison Avenue store are gracious and helpful, never pushy. The clothes are of excellent quality. I always find what I’m looking for and additional surprises as well."

"Super snobby staff. Nobody looks at me or greets me until I ask for help. I found a scarf that I liked but it had a snag in it so I asked if they had more in stock. The woman checked the computer and confirmed that there were more in stock and then did nothing. I waited for her to get it and kept staring at her until she asked me if I was absolutely sure if I wanted her to get it because she'll have to go downstairs. Is this not her job? I prefer the one in the lower east side for friendlier staff."

"Company is excellent. But this location is tiny, with a limited selection unattractively jammed into racks. Recommend Columbus Circle store or heading downtown to the Soho store."
