"The soup of the day was delicious, and the bread was soft and fresh. Chicken and rib combo is a great deal. Chicken was a little on the drier side but the ribs were great but the massive proportions and great service make up for it. Flan was okay, not the best I’ve had but not bad by any means."

"The restaurant is pretty inside, but is kinda hot (it is uncomfortable), they supposed to turn on the A/C or increase a little the power of A/C. Yellow rice, Fries and the chicken are great, the pork ribs it was burned and dry in part of the ribs, but juice and well spiced on the rest. The whole portion is really well served, 2 or 3 people will be satisfied. I recommend the restaurant!"

"I have been going to this location for years. I work in the area. Out of all the places I can go for fresh barbecue chicken this is my favorite place. I feel a personal connection with the employees here who recognize and acknowledge me every time I go there. I understand the pressure they are under to meet the demand during peak hours, so I never get upset. This is a small place where you get fresh food. The French fries are the best in the area. If you enjoy shoe string french fries this is the place to get them. They specialize in Chicken and Ribs. Come and enjoy the best that Newark has to offer."

"Based on good reviews I decided to try this barbecue place. I have eaten in several in Newark so I have them for comparison. The ribs were OK. The one star is because the chicken was dry and there was very little of it. I ordered the combo. It did not come with a 1/2 a chicken it came with 3 tiny pieces that equalled about a quarter of a chicken.. I also asked for hot sauce. When I got the order home there was one tiny cup (3/4oz) for what should have been half chicken 1/2 rack of ribs. Of course now I know there was not a 1/2 chicken."

"I was very excited about trying their shrimp in garlic sauce and it was a total disappointment! I expected them to use large shrimp, but they were baby shrimp. The sauce didn't taste like garlic, but was very tangy and lemony. It came with a small pan of rice, but was still not worth $16 when the "best part" was the worst."
