"Love this place! The owner is awesome and kind! He even made a generous donation to the annual PAWS tricky tray! Good is awesome and great price for the quality!"
"So….. I’ve read multiple reviews with a few complaints, I was skeptical about this place from day one considering what was there my whole life growing up. Unfortunately I like to see things from myself. I ordered a flat iron steak sandwich, garlic Parmesan wings, Tartufo flatbread and risotto balls. The steak sandwich was edible but below average. Honestly it taste like it will thawed out and refrozen and than served on a subroll. The chicken wings were less than below average and feel like some of them may have not been cooked all the way, the garlic Parmesan sauce taste more like butter, and the wings were very soggy. As far as the tartufo flat bread, again it was edible but it did not taste like truffle as explained on the menu, It was very bland at best. And as far as the risotto balls go there is a very good chance that they were microwavable, possibly bought from a Stop & Shop or ShopRite and tossed in a microwave to serve to the customers. I would say their food is edible but I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody I cross paths with. They say honesty is the best policy well pags you really need to change up your menu or I don’t see you lasting very long in this town. One more thing the person I called to place my order was completely lost and had no clue what she was doing I would give the call service 0 out of 10…. She was a complete air head."
"Excellent lunch! Pasta portions are huge! Two of us split a “small” pasta portion. Great food, lovely owners!"
"This is my receipt, for a $32.00 rib eye steak, saying medium rare. And also the steak I received. You be the judge. Waiter also came back to confirm medium rare. I think he, or I, should have sent it back. Comments?"
"I placed an order thru "To good to go" which is an app that allows you to purchase mystery meals from local restaurants at a discounted rate to help eliminate food waste. I find that it is a good way to try new places without dropping a bunch of money on something I might end up not liking. My order was for 4 mystery meals. I received 4 full proper meals including drink and desert. (All the same meal..which is totally fine). If you are familiar with the area, this place is known as the old Chinese buffet...and it was strange seeing a sit down restaurant in it's location, however the place was spruced up nicely and was very clean. We arrived around 8pm on a Saturday night and there was only one table of people dinning and 3 workers (I am assuming it is the chef and his older teenage son's ) .. They we're not OVERLY friendly but absolutely not rude in anyway. (Just enough conversation/acknowledgment to make us feel welcomed and find out why we were there). We sat and waited while our mystery meals were being prepared..(which was a first for me with too good to go, as normally the meal is ready and waiting...but I will ALWAYS wait for fresh hot food so this was not an issue) What we received was 4 of everything... Chicken Masala with quinoa risotto, a tossed salad, brownie and a can of ginger ale. The worst part of the meal was the brownie ... Which I actually could not eat. It had a strange aftertaste to it...note ..NOT SPOILED or Expired.. just my personal preference, as others in my household agreed it was not great but they ate it. The chicken was not "typical" chicken masala.. it was grilled chicken with a masala sauce (not egg battered and the sauce was much thinner then typical masala sauce) ..so I would dare to say it was a "healthier" option. It was very flavorful. The chicken was not dry and the portions were filling. The quinoa risotto was actually delicious and my favorite part of the meal. The salad was basically just a larger side salad (can't really do anything wrong there lol) .. but it was a good cleansing bite with the "heavier" meal. Overall, I give them a high 4*'s ... Reserving that 5th star once I return and try some of their on menu options..which I absolutely will do. Note to the owners: Thank you.. alot of the time with to good to go, restaurants will toss some very questionable items in the meal or give a incomplete meal figuring "people get what they pay for" ... Apps like these not only help folks like me try different places, or restaurant owners recoup some loss from a bad day of sales...but they also serve as a means for folks with lower income to be able to enjoy a takeout meal without using an entire paycheck to do so... The bags that you folks put together showed RESPECT for your customers no matter what their situation. So you have gained a new customer out of me, and I look forward to trying some of your menu options."
