"What a nice little spot in Hawthorne. Food was flavorful, delicious and fresh. Best guacamole in the area in my opinion. Very fair in pricing and generous servings. My wife and I got the arroz con pollo, guacamole, and empanadas and thought they were all very tasty. Definitely will be going back there!"

"Mora’s is a great new addition to Hawthorne. Authentic Cuban food with a fabulous creamy garlic sauce. We ordered the chicken empanadas, lechón and chicken. Meat was very tasty although a little dry. Beans and rice were top notch and the empanada had great depth of flavor. We’ll be back!"

"Pros: tasty. We had the pita with beef and the sausage sandwich. Cons: portion size and price. Staff are new and still learning. We went in and got three sandwiches. The pita with beef is pictured below. There was a super tiny amount of beef. Flavor was good but I don’t feel it was worth $11. We each ordered a side. The cashier didn’t tell us the sandwich came with fries so we ended up buying a bunch extra. We ended up needing it to be filled up anyway but it would have been nice to know. Onion rings were $8 for a small portion. Our three sandwiches, three sides, and a can of soda set me back $52 and then I was charged a credit card fee on top. If small portions are fine to you and you eat lightly, then I do recommend trying it. It tasted good. But if I just ordered the entree, I would have to go get another lunch somewhere else. They did just open so I will give them a couple of months and try it again and update the review."
