"Ordered a Roma panini with French fries for pick up when I got home the panini bread was so soaked that it was inedible. I tossed that to the side. When I bit into the chicken the texture seemed “off” to my horror it was still raw. I was so disgusted and immediately threw up. I called them and they were very apologetic and offered me a full credit. I will use it for pizza but will never order from here again!"
"Best pizza in rockland hands down. And the deals are unbeatable. Everywhere else is a joke! The chicken park is delightful"
"Wonderful people. My kids grew up eating their food. The family deals are an outstanding good deal -the pizza is tasty, comes with an amazing salad, amazing garlic "knots", and a side (I like chicken parm or eggplant parm."
"Food is good here. You always win when you get pizza here. The prices have gone up as with everything so now it’s a bit pricey. I was a little disappointed with the fries though because they were hard. But everything else was fine. There’s dinning if you choose, and the employees are friendly."
"I'm admittedly grading on a bit of a curve given the location, but I've been very pleased the two times I've ordered from here. There are a TON of pizza places in the area, but I'm finding it's best to look at some of the secondary menu offerings. Case in point, the heros/sandwiches at Mr. Crispy's are the selling point - they dominate the menu compared to the pizza options, and they offer half-sizes, which is perfect for me. (Full disclosure - I have not had the pizza but based solely on superficial optics, it does not look like my jam.) I stopped by most recently this past week for lunch. Mr. Crispy's (like almost every establishment within a 10-mile radius) is located in a strip mall with some other lunchtime spots as well. I ordered from here a few months ago with a co-worker, who didn't get what she asked for, but said that they took down her name if I wanted to reference it for a free meal. Classy when places do that. The girl behind the counter was very friendly, so I figured I'd at least ask about that since it seemed a bit odd that they'd keep track of free meals just by jotting down the customer name in lieu of, say, providing a coupon or something. They literally had a notebook by the counter with all of the names, which cracked me up. I chose to pay for my own meal rather than seriously pursue that, but hey - it's a system. I ordered the half-hero size chicken parm ($5.75). As mentioned, perfect portion and a very competitive price point for what you're getting. I'm not a huge connoisseur of subs/heros since they tend to be pretty heavy, so the only direct comp I have is a place in Jersey City called Milano's, which is well regarded for these types of sandwiches. Honestly though? I prefer this one. Milano's has super fresh, practically dripping mozzy on theirs (the one obvious upside), but I really love that Mr. Crispy's toasts the bread pretty hardcore before serving. Gives it a nice crunch/slight char, the only downside being that every bite ends up like a Nature Valley bar, with crumbs cascading down in front of you. Napkins should be handy. I also like that the chicken is kind of shredded, not one or two hunks; that's certainly personal preference though. The cheese IS a little heavy/thick for me, but it does end up evening out with the decent portion size, and I like that the sauce is very much a subtle secondary player here. The restaurant itself is pretty non-descript - it looks like every other blue collar, by the slice pizza place - but it offers seating with a big window in the front if you want to gaze out at the parking lot while you munch (I chose to catch up on the breaking news on the NY Post website on my phone). The service is also top-notch. Not only was the counterperson/server friendly, but it took less than five minutes to get my sandwich, and she urged me to get the lunch special, which was the same exact price but included a soda/bag of chips - they easily could have saved the minimal inventory. Very pleasant little spot, and I will be returning shortly."
