"When it comes to reviewing Italian restaurants, I'm usually quite critical. Really, how hard is it to make pasta and a protein dish. But, every once in a while I am unexpectedly surprised. La Cambusa is one of those Italian restaurants that blew my socks off. Right as you walk in you are greated very warmly, and the staff continued to charm my wife and I through the entire meal. They were friendly, they were attentive and overall they were great. The decor is modern, but Italian influenced. The crowd and atmosphere was on point, loud enough to talk with your table and not be heard, while quit enough not to cause you to speak loud so you can be heard. The music was great without being intrusive. Now comes the food, the pasta dishes were almost all homemade/made in house, cooked perfectly. The vegetables were fresh, the seafood was incredibly fresh and tasty and overall the food was well seasoned. It was an amazing meal. The menu is fairly priced and the restaurant is BYOB. Which is great, I would much rather bring my own bottle of wine then pay 4 times the retail price for a sub par wine. Overall I highly recommend, I will be back soon."
