"Great food great staff. And always cook with perfection. This is my go to for breakfast dine in or for carry out. The location is great. And very friendly staff. They have a great lunch menu too. I have never been disappointed. Keep up the service. I highly recommend this place. Still serving great food and incredible staff."

"If you're looking for a consistent diner in the area, I would recommend Montclair House Grill. The price is what you would expect for a diner, average. Every item I have ordered thus far has come out good, and the menu has plenty of options. I enjoy their waffles for breakfast and wraps for lunch. When it's available, I find the chicken tortilla soup pretty tasty. The service is definitely on the better end for a diner. It didn't take long to order and receive my food, and I found the wait staff polite and generally attentive."

"Visiting Montclair for 2 nights before we head back home from our cruise that landed in Newark. We really enjoyed this place. The waitstaff and hostess were super friendly. Our food was very very good!. We had Steak & Shrimp, Pulled Pork Nachos, Belgian Waffle, Chocolate Chip Pancakes, and a California Wrap. 4 stars due to having to ask for refills, and the patio out front was pretty dirty. Just one sweep of trash etc. every 30 minutes. Easy Solve. I will be back if we are ever here again."

"A wonderful place with large portions and Chris the proprietor is so helpful and friendly. Audrey our server was great. The pastas are delicious and all the meals there are quality at a great price. I recommend this place highly when you're in Montclair New Jersey. It is a must!"
