Rhodes North Tavern

"Music was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think. Sat in the bar area at a table, but no one came to take orders. There were 5 of us. We had to order our drink at the bar because the blonde bartender was too lazy to come to the table. We waited almost an hour to order food, but she was too busy chatting at the bar and going out to smoke two times. Horrible service! Paid for drinks and walked out. Went to Characters just down the street and it was great!"

"All the food here is good quality, especially the meat since their butcher is inhouse. The mussels are great too! This was also my go-to place for wings and beer for a while. They have a nice selection of beers on tap and the bar is cozy as are the booths. Joe the bartender is a real character and tends to make the bar experience quite entertaining! Prices went up a bit since covid but I guess that's to be expected. There's live music on the weekends and trivia nights are fun too. I love all the witty slogans on the walls. It's nice to visit Rhodes any season, space outback is nice for warmer days and the inside is cozy on cold or rainy nights."

"Rhodes North Tavern is a great breakfast and lunch destination. Owners and staff are friendly to all who enter. On several occasions they have allowed our group (Ramapo Motorcycle Club) to use their parking area for our annual Fall Foliage Run in October. We get there early to enjoy a hearty breakfast before getting on the road. During lunch it gets a little crowded but that's a sign that this is a good place to be."

"It was the most delicious French onion soup. The ribs were soft and juicy. No complaints about the food! Taking away 1 star for service! We asked for a sample of one beer, which we were denied, when in all decent places this is not a problem! They also brought us a coffee drink with cinnamon instead of a cappuccino, because the coffee machine was broken, and they counted it as a cappuccino! Many issues could be resolved simply by talking to us. Overall a good place!"
