"I wanted to like this restaurant. After some disappointing local experiences with prime rib, we saw prime rib on the menu here and thought we would give it a try. I ordered the New England Clam Chowder and felt it was one of the best I ever had. Chock full of ingredients with unusually large pieces of clams. The salad was OK, nothing special. Then came the prime rib. A generous sized piece that appeared to be done perfectly according to my request. My friend also got the PR, and was given a good sized end cut which he requested. But then, what a letdown. Both of our servings were among the toughest we've ever encountered. It hurt my teeth to chew. (My teeth are perfectly healthy, lol.) A real disappointment. I should mention, however that our waitress, Sarah was top notch. I doubt we'll be back. Still searching for that perfect prime rib, like those young guys looking for the perfect wave in that surfing movie years ago. Overall Grade C+"
"Good Ole country place atmosp. I've eaten here at least five times in past year. If you're going on a Friday and want the prime rib You have to Reserve The rib At least a day in advance So they know how many to cook. Very good. Perfectly COOKED. The chicken sandwich was stellar. French onion soup was great! Appetizers- trifecto bland; onion rings-big n crispy, good ; BUT my once favorite potato skins were tiny, shriveled, and dry w a bit of cheddar on top. Oh, be careful of the floor in front of the ladies room, it's sunken in."
"Great place for hamburgers and comfort food. Friendly and attractive & attentive staff. Good drinks."
"Nice place the bartender and waitress are super nice and friendly. Food was good and reasonably priced. Karaoke night so that added to the fun. Only bad thing that later in the evening while enjoying karaoke I witness a roach crawling across the bar top.grossed me out a bit. I'll definatenitely go again fir thr atmosphere and karaoke but I might just pass on the food....the bartender (Allise I believe) has an amazing voice.def. worth listening to."
"This place is pretty great. The food was delicious as were the drinks... The environment is aesthetically pleasing... Very rustic. Wide selection of drinks and food. The service is a little bit slow, however, there was one person serving both the bar and the restaurant, so lack of time efficiency is understandable. Overall it was a great experience and I will most likely return."
