"Update to old review: they messed up the order.... tried to blame me for him not hearing it instead of fixing the order......ONE STAR!!!! Also they charge $5 for 1 slice of pizza!!!!! Outrageous and poor service!!! this used to be a great pizza place... then the Owner died and things started going downhill....went there and it was slammed, chaotic and poor service..... I'm sad and not happy."

"Village Trattoria in Maplewood exceeded expectations. Acting on a friend's long-standing recommendation, we indulged in the Buffalo Chicken and Hawaiian pizzas. Each bite was a burst of flavors, from the spicy kick of the buffalo chicken to the sweet and savory blend of the Hawaiian toppings. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the ingredients tasted fresh. It's evident why our friend spoke highly of this place for so long. Finally trying it was a culinary delight, and we are grateful for the excellent suggestion. A must-visit for pizza enthusiasts!"

"Top Teir all the way. In my experiences Forever & Always consistent with the best specialty Pizza options around . Their White slice is buttery and simply perfection ; The buffalo slice never disappoints and truly the only pizzeria that’s great from the first bite down to the crust. Sadly I no longer live in Jersey but when I do return this is the only place to go. I challenge anyone to say Village Trattoria isn’t the best Pizza around ."

"We placed a to-go order and we called twice to indicate the pickup time and regarless the pizza was prepared way ahead of time. When picking up I complained the pizza was cold so they reheated it but they gave me back a toasted pizza, bread is horrible and dry. It doesn’t look fresh any more!!!"
