"4 plain slices cost just under $13. Served hot, a bit on the smaller size though."
"No bad pizza in NJ? Yes, this one. Decent sized slice, adequate service. But... no snap to the crust, no zest to the sauce, no mouthfeel to the cheese. I thought pepperoni was spicy. Not here. Perhaps OK in the heartland, but New Jersey? Maybe they've just given up. Too many good places on Franklin Avenue, so they'll get by on strangers like me or old timers. Good luck."
"We're long time patrons, My family orders from Franklin Lakes Pizza once or twice a week, I often advocate for the restaurant with friends and family. The sandwiches, pizza, entrees and salads are delicious. For those rare downer dishes, it's usually fried food related. More specifically, the calamari is overcooked, calamari can be tricky and I would not be writing a review if the calamari had some degree of chewiness, even upscale establishments struggle with same. At the very least, the calamari should not be tough/dry, It takes minutes/seconds to cook, it's an easy fix. Today, we had an issue with the fried onion rings, looked very burnt, yet soggy. These are not expensive dishes, am not losing any sleep over it, Mistakes happen all the time, I don't want to offend anyone by double checking everything before I pay for it. To post pictures of these exceptions would be punitive for a place that is often first-rate for take out. Ned"
"I used to order from Franklin Lakes Pizza quite a bit. However, the last 3 times I’ve ordered from there have been rather disappointing. Today’s chicken milanese order was not palatable. If I had to bet money on it, I’d wager it was a frozen chicken cutlet that they simply warmed up. After a couple bites, I had to throw out the meal in its entirety (at $22 mind you- this is unacceptable). Such a shame to see this place go so downhill- fortunately there are plenty other places in the neighboring area with better food."
"Franklin Lakes Pizza is a Good Local Slice of Pizza. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The Pizza was your standard local slice of pizza. Not Great. Not Bad. A good slice of pizza. It all actually blended really well together from the crust, sauce and cheese. The place was clean and had a nice variety of speciality slices ready to go. I would go back again for a slice on the run. See where they end up in the NJ Pizza Rankings on the Pizza Hunters App."
