"If I could have given 0 stars I would have. My daughter sucked up orbeeze with my vacuum. The vacuum worked but was giving off a horrible smell. I brought it to park ridge appliance and he told me I needed a brand new motor that he would order for me. Once he had the vacuum a couple days, I realized that the motor was under warranty. I called park ridge appliance and told him. He said he already ordered the motor and fixed it. So I paid him $300 out of pocket for a “new motor”. When I got the vacuum home, the minute I turned it on, the same horrible smell was being blown out of the vent. I called him to let him know and he told me to bring it back in. I didn’t trust that he knew what he was doing if he would return a vacuum to me in the condition he did. I actually ended bringing it to a different vacuum place in Oradell. Oradell vacuum told me the motor and padding around the motor needed to be changed. That park ridge appliance never changed any motor. My vacuum had the original motor and original padding - which was all sticky. I called park ridge appliance to let him know he was untrustworthy and should be ashamed of himself. He tried to lie to me AGAIN- now he said he changed “parts” within the motor. My gosh! I’m reporting him to the better business bearau. This man is unethical. Please save your money and bring your vacuum to Oradell."

I brought it to Nelson at Park Ridge Appliance, and now it’s as good as new (maybe better) at an unbelievably low cost (and there’s one less vacuum on the trash heap).
