"I was worried about breakfast with all the reviews I saw. Breakfast was actually not bad at all. We were seated right away and our waitress Alina was great. Plenty of food came out for 3 of us. The eggs were just ok and a bit burnt. The fruit bowl was sweet and fresh!"
"The airliner chicken was tasty, roasted, with potato and veg, a little gravy. My kid liked his burger and fries. Mac and cheese wasn't quite right. The lettuce in the wrap tasted like bagged salad. Breakfast is free and adequate for a place clearly trying to do it on the cheap and efficient. We ate at 730 am with no issues. Long line by 8a. I wish they had some hearty whole grain options like good oatmeal."
"Place is cute. Everyone working was wonderful, every single person I encountered in there. Food was...well ..you read the other reviews. They are correct, it's cafeteria food on a nice plate. Food came out way too fast , I was surprised in about 5 minutes..and realized it was Luke warm and probably had been sitting around. My Mac and cheese was okay. My kids burger and fries looked old and was not warm but she enjoyed it. The waitress Nicole was nice. It has soooo much potential, nice space with great workers, why not bring your food up to par and make it like Chilies or Fridays or upscale like a Ruth Chris??"
"This post is in two sections: (1) Free Breakfast and (2) Dinner Service: (1) Free Breakfast: Short version - reserve your table at or before 7:30 am, and ask for EVERYTHING right away. First, this place is poorly managed. That's the heart of the issue. Our server was running constantly, trying to do the work of several people. Then at the same time four people were standing and doing nothing (bussers) and four other people were doing nothing (hosts). By the time we left, a line stretched for fifty or sixty yards, and the bussers and hosts were rushing as well. Not a good system. Second, we had to wait for too long, and the waitress only managed to stop at our table once. A different person brought us a tray of food (discussed later), and otherwise we just sat. Third, they just give a "family style" tray of food to a table. We had a party of five (two adults, two teens, one tween), and we received the same size tray of food as a table with an adult and a small child. It was not enough. When we finally were able to catch our waitress as she was frantically serving drinks to hundreds of people, she immediately sent a second tray of food. This made it so adults are after the kids finished, and it's a good thing they weren't little - there was no Lego play area in this place (like Florida). Although this was plenty for our family, we never had a chance to get a single drink refill. Finally, although this was decent food, it would make far more sense to have eleven people managing a buffet style dining area without reservations. This felt like an experiment gone wrong. (2) Dinner Service: Short Version - only spend money here if you don't have another alternative. Drive elsewhere if you can. First and foremost, the food is priced at least double what is reasonable for the quality. A kid's meal with three chicken tenders and a small basket of fries costs $12, and a chicken sandwich costs $20 - prices should speak to the quality, but they don't. A family of five will easily pay $100 after taxes. Much more like $200 if you factor in overpriced drinks. Second, we ordered a charcuterie board as a splurge, and what we received was a metal cafeteria tray with wak paper consisting of one triangle slice of Bleu cheese, six pieces of thin sliced deli meat (pepperoni, salami, and prosciutto). There was a slice of cheddar and a slice of something else, but both had hard sections like they had been out for hours. Then, they added a cold pretzel and a lumpy cup of cold beer cheese and a cup of honey mustard. It was the charcuterie board you expect a frat boy to throw together to try to impress his mom. Gross. Finally, we had a 4:30 pm reservation, and we were prompt. We had to wait for several minutes while the manager (reddish blond with a long black dress) held a team meeting with her staff directly in front of us. The staff were attempting to point out that we were waiting, and we overheard the manager tell the staff members to wait while she finished. It would have been far less awkward to hold a meeting ten minutes before the scheduled food service, but we immediately felt disrespected. Summation: Both my wife and I have worked in many restaurants, and this is simply unprofessional and irresponsible management. We didn't bother complaining when we were displeased with the charcuterie board because we believed that it had little to do with the waitress who would have been subject to the same poor management. It's a shame because we loved the food service in the Legoland, Florida resort (albeit pricey). This resort would be wise to hire a manager from the Florida resort."
"The breakfast was an unorganized buffet last time we came. This time they have moved to a family style platter. We have been here for 45 minutes and have yet to be served. Other folks who came after us have already been served. I would recommend leaving the resort for breakfast even if it is free. It is a huge waste of time for poor quality food."
